New Smyrna Museum of History  – See how the Southeast Volusia Historical Society, preserves, interprets, and promotes history in Southeast Volusia.  Admission is by donation and is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm Tuesday – Saturday. 120 Sams Avenue, New Smyrna Beach.  (386) 478-0052.

 

Downtown New Smyrna Beach –  The historic buildings and gorgeous architecture area creates the perfect backdrop to charming, historic downtown New Smyrna Beach.  The tree-lined, pedestrian friendly streets offer a variety of specialty shops, fine dining, and cultural attractions. Parking is free.

 

Canaveral National Seashore – Year round recreation including fishing, boating, canoeing, surfing, sunbathing, swimming, hiking, camping, nature and historical trails.  Visit the Eldora Statehouse, filled with history of earlier life along Mosquito Lagoon.

 

The Little Theatre – Providing big entertainment to the community as well as education in the performing arts, The Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach presents six productions from September to May and a summer production in July.  726 Third Avenue, New Smyrna Beach. (386) 423-1246.

 

Flagler Avenue New Smyrna Beach –   A true seaside beach street filled with quaint boutiques, galleries, surf shops, restaurants, inns and more.  Be sure to check out the nightlife on Flagler with many restaurants and pubs offering live entertainment.

Monthly Recurring Events:

Wine Walk – Every 4th Saturday of the Month, 1pm to 7pm – Stroll Flagler Avenue and enjoy wine tasting with live music and many fine dining restaurants.  Passport tickets can be purchased at the corner of Cooper Street and Flagler Avenue.

Sip-n-Stroll – 1st Saturday of the Month, 1pm to 6pm – Stroll Canal St,  sample craft beers and unique wine while checking out all of the shops and great restaurants!
